Using the New Jerusalem Bible (because of all modern translations it reads out loud the best), David Guthrie reads the gospels and letters as if you hear Paul or Mark or Matthew or John speaking to you in person. In The Spoken Word series, John's gospel coves at the very end of the series, a gospel that reflects back on the whole tradition and brings out its inner meaning.
